The Ultrasport F-Bike is an ideal entry-level bike for anyone who wants to exercise at home or as part of rehabilitation. Due to its small size and folding mechanism, the Ultrasport is ideally suited to small spaces.
The Ultrasport bicycle has a folding mechanism, a 1.5kg belt driven flywheel with 8-level adjustable resistance and LCD display that displays time, distance traveled, calories burned, speed and heart rate. The exercise bike also comes with a training manual and a 2 year warranty.
Two new versions of the F-Bike are now available, the < a href="https://comparafit.com/test/ultrasport-150-velo-d-appartement-pliable-t-1175.html">Ultrasport 150 and the
Ultrasport 200b .
Cycling is great for your cardiovascular system and for keeping you fit and healthy. If you don't want to go out for a workout and want a home workout, an indoor bike can be a great tool. This Ultrasport F-Bike is a product that has made its mark in this very competitive market for exercise bikes under € 150.
Assembly
Once there, it will take some assembly to assemble the whole thing, which is quite easy to do with the supplied user manual.
This bike has a look pretty cool and trendy.
Although the F-Bike has an attractive design and is compact compared to other bikes (80.5 x 43.5 x 112 cm), when folded , it is actually quite heavy, which is necessary to maintain good stability when practicing. The maximum user weight supported by this bike is quite low since it is only 100 kg and it must be used on a level floor otherwise there is a risk of breakage. The seat can be adjusted in height from a minimum of 83cm to a maximum of 93cm. Therefore, if you are shorter than 1m60 you will have difficulty, even if it is possible to drill a hole in the saddle to lower the seat. Likewise, if you are taller than 1.95m, this bike may not be suitable.
As for the features and functionality of the F-Bike, they are relatively limited but sufficient to get a good workout.
The LCD display shows the number of calories in real time how much you have burned, how fast you go, your pulse, distance traveled and time spent exercising. The data remains displayed on the screen for 5 minutes after the end of your training (after the end of the pedaling) and you just need to hold down the button to clear the data.
The heart rate sensors work in placing and keeping your hands on the metal bands on the handlebars (horizontal part), you will get an accurate result most of the time.
Everything is powered by two AAA batteries.
Regarding resistance, you can adjust it by turning the knob located under the handlebars. There are 8 resistance levels altogether and while they provide a noticeable change in resistance, they are not sufficient for an intermediate or advanced practitioner. A magnetic resistance exercise bike would be more suitable for these users.
The Ultrasport f-Bike is capable of producing smooth running and a smooth ride, but with flexible use. The flywheel weighs only 1.5 kg and it will only be suitable for powerful users. This is because the weight of the flywheel directly impacts the smoothness of pedaling and the more powerful you are, the more jerky your pedaling will be - a heavier flywheel is needed to produce a smooth ride in such cases. That being said, this weight is suitable for beginners, with low to moderate intensities, but for all others we recommend bikes with at least 8 kg flywheels.
Once you are done with your workout the F-Bike can be easily folded up, you just need to remove the safety pin, fold it up and put the pin back in. Also note that the height between the feet and the handlebars when folded is 1m30.
