We recently tested the Ultrasport 200b, a bicycle with seat in the same range as this Klarfit X-Bike 700. We will therefore use this as a point of comparison.
First of all, we can say that this X-Bike 700 has a nice design whether you choose it in black / orange, black / green or blue / white.
Assembly
Once the package has been received, we see that the package is very well packaged and delivered quickly, but beware of the weight of 18 kg, quality obliges. This cardio exercise bike is easily assembled in about 20 minutes (unpacking time is included). And even though the installation documentation is only available in English and German, the diagrams are self-explanatory and the steps detailed and illustrated (5 steps with drawings).
In addition, the tools for assembly are provided. .. And you even have the batteries.
Comfort
With its wide seat and backrest, it provides good seating and good support for the user's back. The backrest and saddle are padded and very comfortable. The comfortable backrest is therefore a plus, especially for people with back pain or having trouble maintaining a correct posture during exercise.
Downside: a sitting position that cannot be adjusted precisely, and for y To compensate, the user may slightly accentuate their position in the upper body.
Its pedals with non-slip buckles also provide good foot support during pedaling and ensure smooth movement.
Also be careful if you measure more than 1.80m, this bike may be suitable for people up to 1.85m maximum but the taller you are, the more comfort suffers.
Use
Very quiet, it can be used easily in front of the TV or while listening to music. So perfect for playing sports without interfering with another activity.
This bike has a built-in pulsometer and to count the heartbeat, just put your hands on the sensors located on each side of the handlebars. No need to hang clips on your ear like some bikes did.
In addition to the pulse, it allows you to view the number of calories expended, your speed and the number of km traveled. Too bad that to reset the counter there is no other solution than to remove the batteries (no on-off button), and without a manual, it's hard to find an answer. The screen is readable even if its small size sometimes requires concentration to see the numbers well (not great for people with poor eyesight).
Like an Ultrasport 200b, the precision of the on-board computer is good but don't expect any feats with these entry-level bikes either. It's a tool for getting an idea of your performance and the data is not to be taken literally. If you want a reliable electronic box and more extensive data, you have to go upmarket and therefore in price.
Now let's talk about the folding mode. As with most X-bikes, folding is easy and requires little effort. Once folded, it can be easily moved, and it can easily be stored in a cupboard. With its small footprint, it is therefore perfect for people with little space. Finally, and despite the folding system, the bike remains very stable during use.
Resistance
Like most folding bikes in this range, the resistance (not producing a 2kg flywheel) does not show enough resistance even at maximum level. This bike is suitable for low to moderate intensity training.
If you want more intense training and therefore higher resistance levels, you will have to go upmarket.
Efficiency
The device is perfect for a specific goal: to exercise daily in order to maintain a certain level of comfort without performance to achieve. It allows you to burn calories quite efficiently if used regularly, but is not suitable for intensive training

This bike is of good quality overall , silent and solid. It has a sturdy appearance thanks to its solid German brand structure and the materials used appear to be of quality.
Attention, it is stated that the user's weight must be less than 110 kg, and on the frame, there is a label that this weight must be less than 100kg. We therefore do not recommend its use for people weighing more than 100 kg.
