For those looking for a more unstable and therefore more "difficult" board, it will be necessary to look at a board with a smaller hemisphere in the center (and therefore a lower contact surface).
Support
The non-slip material that covers is very effective. The grip on the board is therefore very good. Be careful, however, during the first uses, you have to get used to the height of the user's feet from the ground. This board loses points because of the plastic lower part which is not non-slip. We therefore recommend that you use this board on a rug or carpet. Avoid using it on tiles, the plastic could slip on it.
Quality / Durability / Robustness
The Powrx board seems extremely strong, robust very well built and of good quality. The use of wood makes the whole thing much stronger than a similar plastic board and therefore much more durable and the maximum authorized user weight of 150 kg confirms this impression. A downside, however, concerns the slightly sloppy finishes and in particular the non-slip surface: veneer to be finished yourself, bubbles appear and the surface comes off the top and it sometimes has to be glued.
In addition, the screws that bind the half-sphere top are placed in a hurry (not fully screwed). It is often necessary to bring a screwdriver and finish the screwing yourself.
Others
The use of wood makes the board more solid but also slightly heavier compared to a plastic board as can be the
Casall's balance board . Its weight and compactness nevertheless allow it to be stored without worries once the training is over.
