What works in its favor is the system chosen for this platform: vertical vibration. If you are not familiar with what we mean by this, you can refer to the dedicated article. To briefly explain, this type of plate vibrates up and down to work your muscles, as opposed to an oscillating plate that wobbles side to side (sideways). In our opinion, vertical vibration is a better option. The plate, measuring 58cm x 46cm, is a bit small, which might preclude some of the exercise positions you might do on higher-end models with larger platforms. But let's not forget that this device is marketed as a compact model with the advantage that you don't need a lot of space in your home to have it.
We have previously mentioned the vertical vibration system offered on this model, but it also has a good frequency range and the possibility to select a high amplitude (3 to 4 mm) or low ( 1 to 2 mm). This makes for good variations for people of all skill levels.
If this is your first time using a vibrating platform, the low frequencies and low amplitudes will help you get started with them. slowly. But once you get used to it, or if you are already a "vibro-veteran", you can crank up the intensity and give your muscles a real challenge. The console is easy to use and it won't take long for you to master all aspects of it - it's pretty intuitive. We would have liked another console on the center column so that we could make adjustments during exercises in the low position.
Another negative point that we can note on this Active Home concerns the handles which could be longer and have more curves, to give you more grip to maintain and to perform the exercises. < br />

Yes, the plate is a bit small which is limiting during some exercises, and maybe larger handles would be more suitable, but for a machine that won't take up too much space for home use , these flaws can turn into qualities, and in the end it will get you a good workout. And thanks to the adjustable frequency and amplitude range, it's ideal for beginners and experienced users.
