Presentation
Adidas presents the Home Gym, a guided weight device ideal for training at home. Its high-durability structure, its 100 kilogram weight stack protected by a steel housing and its 5 workout stations, make the Adidas Home Gym one of the most complete weight training equipment. What is striking about the Home Gym is the compactness of the device. The ergonomics and design of the Home Gym allow you to switch between exercises without having to make frequent adjustments, which means you just have to focus on your workout. training rather than spending time making adjustments. You will be able to tone and muscle your legs, arms, upper and lower body using its different features.
So, the adidas home gym has been designed to work your biceps, triceps, abs, chest, back and legs in the best possible way. To do this, the machine has a dual-function leg developer, a seated press and butterfly, a biceps desk, and a high and low pulley for upper and lower limb exercises. The included dual-action console allows you to work with special attention on the biceps and triceps. The seat press and butterfly are built in the same block (no separation) and attached to the 100 kg weight stack well protected from the inside by a housing. The seat is made of high-density "oversized" foam padding 2.5cm thick, ensuring comfortable workouts. The backrest is adjustable in depth in 5 positions, while the seat remains fixed.
The materials used on the Home Gym are of high quality, so you can register in the long term with this device. The tubular steel structure, with a black coated finish, offers a modern design and foolproof stability.
The Home Gym has a 100 kg weight stack allowing users of all levels (beginners to intermediates) to train according to their needs and constraints.

AssemblyOn reception, we set about assembly, which took a few hours. The parts are unfortunately not numbered (which would make the process much easier) and the instructions are mostly pictures. For a single assembly, allow about 5 hours. Once mounted, up-front, the very good build quality is striking, the device appears solid and well finished.
In use, the device offers a good feeling of work. The load is rather adequate - even if we can regret that the advertised 100 kg weight rack really only weighs 65 kg, the rest of the resistance coming from the pulley system - and allows the different groups to be requested in a suitable way. muscle. With these many feasible exercises, you can vary your workouts for different parts of the body; one day the upper body (chest, arms and back), then the following days you can target the lower limbs (quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes). However, as is often the case with this type multi-use weight training machine, the emphasis is more on upper body exercises. Having all of these functions together in one device definitely saves space, but it keeps everything tight. For example, When doing butterfly, the handles of the press may rub on your chest. Even relatively tall builds can feel right at home on this device. The backrest is adjustable in 5 positions but unfortunately, as often in this price range, not the seat. The foam inner knee pads are a bit too high and create a gap between your thigh and the seat. The pin for changing the load is not very accessible, but so positioned, you do not have to go around the device to change the load. Another criticism is that there is no marker to indicate how much load you are lifting and the instructions are a bit light since they only offer pictures which can be a hassle for beginners. Also be careful when lifting the weight stack to its highest point (at the top of the column). There is a design flaw in the top of the weight stack rails. The weights may get stuck at the top of the entire stack. If you're not careful and pulling too much, the nut on the rod holding the weight can get stuck in the top of the assembly. It can be very dangerous.

Tedious assembly
BOTTOM LINE
All in all you will have understood it, despite some non-crippling faults, the ergonomics, the compactness and the range of exercises of this Home Gym will make these few inconveniences forgotten. The device loses however points on the aspect safe: the lack of external protection of the weight rack and the unexpected jamming of this same weight stack at the top of its stroke can be dangerous. The proposed exercise pallet is interesting and the resistance adapted whatever the movement. However, although it offers a rather plethora of exercises, it remains, like most multigym stations, mainly focused on the work of the “upper body.” We recommend this device to people wishing to maintain their daily routine. , for use 3-4 times a week.
This machine offers a competitive price and good performance and despite a long assembly (allow about 5 hours), the result is well worth the effort. The device makes it a significant argument when choosing. Indeed, if you live in an apartment, you certainly have space constraints. We recommend it to anyone looking for a guided load machine with a good range of exercises that won't take too much of their budget.
