The Gain Trainer is fairly simple to use and practical equipment. Its design is neat and in tune with the times, and unlike old fitness equipment, it can even be left in the living room as a decorative object.
It takes up little space, and even if we use it recently, it seems efficient and rather playful. But that's by combining it with the
Abdo Gain that you can really exploit all its capabilities. This combination of 2 sports equipment offering a limited number of movements when they are independent becomes a complete fitness equipment when they are associated.
Use
The first exercise we did was done by positioning the Gain Trainer on the Abdo Gain and trying to keep the balance, at the image of a balance board.
But the combination of these 2 products goes well beyond this exercise. It allows work on all muscle groups with various exercises. For fine, supple and gentle work. However, you will have to go online to follow the Domyos courses live because the user guide provided is poor, even useless (we are entitled to require more explanation from a manual in order to be able to use it correctly and video or an exercise guide seems to be a minimum).

User comfort
Overall this Gain Trainer is comfortable. Too bad the fixed handles are not made of the same material as the removable handles. On long series, the grip is not pleasant. The other downside here is to adjust the length of the rubber bands. Various exercises mean different difficulties and lengths and obviously the emphasis has not been placed on the practicality and effectiveness of the adjustment. In addition, a marking on the straps to have markers would be a plus. A downside therefore concerning the ease of use of the straps, system to be reviewed.
Efficiency
Whether you are a regular or occasional athlete, the use of the Domyos gain trainer allows generalized muscle strengthening without having to undergo the “Trauma” from traditional weight machines.
However, while this machine is particularly suitable for muscle and abdominal strengthening, don't expect miracle results. To derive real benefits, it is strongly recommended to practice additional physical activity, and of course, to eat a balanced diet.
Build Quality / Durability
When it comes to build quality, the Gain Trainer is solid overall, although a bit too soft in the middle. But for its core target, women, the robustness of the product should be sufficient.
Dimensions / Storage / Transport
This device does not take up much space even when combined with the Abdo Gain. In addition, the use of plastic makes it very light. It is therefore possible to store and transport it (s) without difficulty.
