The Ab Flyer is an abdominal machine that was created to reduce muscle stress in the back, neck and shoulders. It works your abs while squatting on a swivel chair and works your muscles to their maximum potential. The manufacturer recommends, in addition to training with this Ab Flyer, to follow a low-calorie diet. This combination is believed to result in weight loss (and therefore a reduction in waist circumference) and a strengthening of the abdominal belt.
DESCRIPTION
The Ab Flyer is an abdominal machine that produces movement similar to the Ab Coaster, although the mechanism is decidedly different. Like its competitor, the Ab Flyer has a seat mounted on an axis that allows it to rotate during the climb and thus work obliques.
This product is designed to provide a workout that pushes the user to the limit while reducing stress on the joints. Used with intensity, the Ab Flyer works on different muscle groups and the cardiovascular system, which helps burn calories. The machine has a mechanism that allows the resistance level to be changed to suit the user's level. This makes the Ab Flyer suitable for use by anyone, regardless of their fitness level.
Supported by various athletes, and well known to many, this machine is already popular in the fitness world, and is a reliable piece of equipment if used to its full potential. And for once, the main page of the official website states that the results presented in the ads require a lot of work and the manufacturer provides a supplemental diet. They also mention that the people we see in the clip are not necessarily representative of the results we get with this Ab Flyer.
The Ab Flyer is available for purchase almost everywhere on the web, and is priced around 130 €, in the range of abdominal machines currently sold on the market.
We have now been using this device for over a month and the Ab Flyer is a great device that delivers real results. But as usual, if you want to achieve these results, consistency is key.
Although it is easy to use, when you step on the Ab Flyer for the first few times you may not be able to make a full movement, but more you practice, the simpler the movement will appear to you. You can compensate slightly with your arms at first to pull yourself up, but it is best to focus on the core belt during the movement and gradually strengthen it. Even people who are in good physical shape will find this device a challenge up to the task.
The Ab Flyer doesn't take up too much space and while, for comparison, it's larger than a 5 Minute Shaper even folded up, it fits quite easily behind a door or in a closet. It also has the advantage of not training on the floor, which is quite interesting.
Our small problem concerns the quality of the device. Even if the base is solid, it is necessary to tighten the bolts and screws quite frequently in order to prevent play from forming and to keep the machine stable.
In addition, it can be very difficult for someone who has just returned to physical activity to follow the manufacturer's recommendations. Most beginners will find it difficult to combine an intense training program with a strict low-calorie diet.

BOTTOM LINE
Even though this device only works one muscle group, it does it well. Other less expensive and smaller devices are available on the market but it does not necessarily offer such an intense workout. In addition, the low calorie diet that comes with the Ab Flyer can be difficult for beginners to maintain but it nevertheless allows you to have a basis to follow.
One of the best ways to get back in shape is to work out on your own regularly (without necessarily using equipment) and maintain a balanced diet. This device can help you achieve your goals, but only your motivation will make the difference.
