This is a very skillful and proven marketing strategy that is used here by manufacturers of fitness equipment. They bombard us with useless machines (especially after the Christmas holidays) in addition to advertising, promising us wonders. In reality, the results are often less ideal. On the positive side, we can say that Ab Dance is fun and easy to use. It is also easy to assemble and its price is unbeatable. The use is therefore simple but very limited with only 2 possible exercises.
We feel that the muscles are "working" at the waist and abs and if we are very attentive, we can even feel the front of the thighs. If we stick to the exercises, then we could say that the device does what it says. But make no mistake, moderately putting on a few muscles won't help you lose weight.
Now let's talk about the negatives. The device is not of high quality (stapled seat fabric, rudimentary sliding system) and above all it is noisy. On the videos the extras slide back and forth very easily. But when you use it, you understand with just one movement that it won't be that way.
It doesn't slide smoothly, make noise, the metal creaks and the seat squeaks and rubs on the rail.
Depending on the exercise, the seat rubs more or less on the bearings and yet our tester was far from the maximum 120 kg supported by the device. So not very pleasant to watch TV at the same time, contrary to what the ads suggest. In addition to the disturbing noises, the stability is not there. Quite often, in fact, the bench wobbles during the movement.
We also found that there were a lot of products being returned for strength or design issues. So if the price is indeed very low, you have to ask yourself why. And the answer most certainly lies in the more than mediocre build quality. We are also surprised that these fitness and weight loss machines in that they have a weight limit that is ridiculously low considering that they are intended for overweight people who want to reduce their weight.
