After the worldwide success of the
Ab Circle Pro , previously tested on our site, Jennifer Nicole Lee, the creator of this blockbuster, has decided to release a new version of this machine, the Ab Circle Mini (alias the Circle Mini).
In this test, we'll see what the new Ab Circle Mini offers more than its big brother, and whether it is suitable for someone who wants to lose belly fat and get flat abs and therefore whether or not it really works.
We hope that by reading this Mini Circle review you will be able to overcome the touting effect of teleshopping shows a little and become a more informed consumer.
Description of the Ab Circle Mini
The Ab Circle Mini looks exactly like the original, the Ab Circle Pro . You use them the same way and they're meant to deliver the same workout experience and the same results: losing love handles, flattening your stomach, and burning belly fat.
Differences between the Ab Circle Pro and the Circle Mini
Although these two versions work in a similar way, there are some differences between the two:
The weight first. The Circle Mini weighs about 4 kg less than the Ab Circle Pro. This makes the new version much more portable and easier to carry.
Dimensions then. The Ab Circle Mini is smaller than the original, so it should be easier to store than the older, larger version. Finally, the Price. The new version is much cheaper. The initial cost of the Ab Circle Pro is around € 180. The new one launched for around $ 100 and can be found for $ 90 on some sites.
The Circle Mini comes with a package that includes a few items other than the machine itself. These include an "Express" workout DVD, a fat loss nutritional plan, 2 padded knee inserts, a wrench (for assembly) and Instructions for Use. The device is guaranteed for 1 year, which corresponds to market standards but which is relatively low for a device which is supposed to be used over the long term.
To use the Ab Circle Mini, all you need to do is put your knees on the knee pads provided, and position your hands on both handles, making sure you are comfortable. Once you are properly seated on the machine, you begin to perform side-to-side lower body rocking movements with varying intensities to get a workout of your core abs and obliques ( lateral muscles). You can easily find videos on the internet (some with Jennifer Nicole Lee) showing the operation and use of the Circle Mini.
As we have seen above, the Ab Circle Mini takes all the characteristics of its predecessor. There are, however, some differences, particularly in the dimensions of the device. On the other hand, if there is one thing that is not likely to change, it is the performance of the device, given that the movement and the exercises offered are the same as with the
Ab Circle Pro . The effectiveness of the Circle Mini is therefore similar to that of the Ab Circle Pro, i.e. you yourself can get a nice core workout with the Circle Mini, but you still have to keep in mind. mind that by using only the abdominal belt, the results on weight loss - overall and in the abdomen - will be poor.
For effective fat loss, you need a full body workout, with exercises that focus on large muscle groups (which burn the most calories) and that require intensive cardio, all combined with a healthy diet. There are much more effective exercises and devices to lose love handles and excess fat accumulated in the stomach. It is unlikely, if not impossible, that you will get the kind of results touted on home shopping shows using just this device. It can be a good supplement, but you will also need to do traditional workouts and follow a healthy diet for optimal results. It's up to you to see if the investment in this device is worth it.
In terms of operation, the movement is smooth and smooth and the running mechanism seems to have been improved, but if there is still a lack of resistance. The handlebars give you a good working position and you can even lean forward on the handles to work your abs from a different angle. The designers also seem to have revised the stability of the device as well as the knee supports, which are now more comfortable and more durable.
Ab Circle Pro
vs Circle Mini
The weight of the Circle Mini (about 4 kg less than the Ab Circle Pro) is a real advantage especially when it comes to transport. But what is an advantage can also turn into a disadvantage. Here, it is the overall strength that is weakened by the weight reduction, although in terms of durability, it is still difficult to know if this machine will last. We don't have enough hindsight.
The dimensions of the new Ab Circle also have their advantages and disadvantages. Smaller than the original, the Mini should therefore be easier to store and transport than the older, larger version. But these reduced dimensions also limit the range of users (sizes) and can impact overall comfort. To end with the positive, let's talk about the price. The new version is much cheaper than the previous one, count around a hundred euros against 180 € for the old one.
