The MeaBelt 400 is a pretty well thought out and easy to use belt if you can understand the user manual. Direct competitor of belts Beurer EM 35 , and Gymform Dual Shaper , it stands out thanks to its practical additional belt but unfortunately also by its unreliability and its limited effectiveness.

After receiving, decrypting and understanding how it works, we did a first session ubb The belt seems to work perfectly, of good quality and rather discreet. Indeed, once you get started and understand the operation, the whole thing is relatively easy to use with its pre-established programs. for different exercises and different intensities, at least that is what we believe.

The Meabelt 400 is made up of a large belt with patches on the front and the back. back as well as an additional smaller belt (strap) with a single patch. The complementarity of these 2 belts is rather well thought out and practical in theory. In practice , the main belt is difficult to adjust No indication of the position of the patches in height or in width u2026 no clear explanations either as to how the belt works and I don't like the placement of the electrodes (2 small at the belly but not in the middle).

The slimming belt is much too rigid, the adjustment for small sizes is absolutely impractical and not at all explained. Making a 38 I only have two patches in front and cannot close the belt. The waist circumference is not suitable for everyone, the belt is too big or too small.
The additional strap to work the thighs, arms and calf is also too small for my body type ( thigh) and it doesn't seem possible to buy a 2nd cuff alone to work the muscles symmetrically.

Also the patches come off. The self-adhesive patches are already worn out (no longer sticking) after 3 sessions with the MeaBelt. We recommend the use of gel to avoid these inconveniences. Finally I find that the patches to stick are not practical, they do not peel off the support properly, not great when you know that they will have to be changed at some point ...
< br> After a number of uses, the patches conduct electricity poorly which can cause pain even with gel. The electrodes hurt a lot, the contractions uncomfortable, it can even be painful. The belt does not contract the muscles properly, it just feels like sending an electric shock anywhere. I feel like I shock myself every time I use it, even when setting on low power.

As for the vibrations, this belt also does not seem to work properly since the vibrations are slight or nonexistent. I found the vibrations very unpleasant which I felt more like needles stuck in the stomach and in the back beware of the sciatica. Ask your doctor for advice before any purchase.

In short, you will understand, its use is quite restrictive.

This is not the first electro stimulation belt that we have tested and despite our experience, it has taken some time to understand how the belt is put on and how the belt works. case as the instructions /instructions for use are not very clear and even sometimes incoherent or even incomprehensible. For those who are using this type of belt for the first time, so you might get a bit or even completely lost.

Indeed, when unpacking the content, well that the product conforms to the description, one may be a little confused by the little information in the explanatory leaflet. This user guide is not really self explanatory ... no diagram and even after several re-readings it took us a while to decrypt it.

Here are our criticisms of the more than minimalist instructions:
- no explanation of how the electrode supports are positioned, not even a diagram, no photo, nothing, so difficult to target the muscles correctly without proper positioning.
- no explanation on how to keep the patches on the electrode supports (do not stick enough, time to put the belt off)
- no explanation of certain button (button with double arrows on the side of the box).
- brief explanation of the 8 programs without further details.

If you want more details. u2019information concerning the operation of the device or if no manual is provided with the device. You can write to the manufacturer to receive a much more complete user guide in pdf version.

The Meabelt 400 is, in appearance, a relatively good quality slimming belt especially for this price. However, it does have real reliability issues.

Many comments mention recurring problems with the box that works a few times and then nothing. Did we even run into any issues with this last one since at the end of our testing period it would only turn on every other time. And we've only been using it for 1 month.

Bad contacts in the connectors in the box and with the buttons also appear very quickly despite the precautions taken. These connection problems mean that the device does not work as it should (vibrations in front but not behind for example). You have to manipulate the box permanently otherwise nothing happens. Balance sheet too fragile and sensitive ...
To make matters worse, no box is provided to store the patches. So be careful when storing the belt not to put the patches in contact with another element at the risk of damaging them or wrinkling them.

Only positive point in this gloomy picture , the extreme friendliness of Plastiméa's after-sales service and the speed of response: I contacted customer service explaining the problems I encountered with the belt, they were reactive and, returned me another quickly (new case as well as new electrodes). So I recommend the Plastiméa site for their seriousness.
Please be aware that if you have a problem with the device and want to return the item, it is at your expense, they will only reimburse the item. u2019ac device which is worth 29.80 u20ac which means that you have to pay around 15 u20ac (return by colissimo), it is all the same half of the price of the article.

The new belt worked fine, but only at the start ... Then it released even faster than the first! Maybe it was a bad series, still it is very disappointing u2026

We often hear that electrostimulation is effortless sport (a session of abs in front of the TV) and that can replace a standard workout.
EMS technology is used in sports medicine to tone and relieve muscles with mic -pulses for quite some time now. The designers rushed to ride this wave to offer products containing this technology.

If the MeaBelt 400 belt can indeed strain and contract your abdominals and other muscles to a greater or lesser extent targeted (see toning them and to a lesser extent drawing them), it is not effective in losing the fat that has accumulated on the abdominal strap.
< br> EMS or electrostimulation can in no way target fat in the stomach or any other part of the body. In any case, no study to date proves it. So to the question is this belt effective for weight loss, and even though we only used it over a 4 week period, the answer is no nuance nah.
So for those who want to lose belly and build muscle, this product does not in any way allow you to lose weight and build muscle contrary to what is written above.

Regarding the A relaxing and massaging effect, muscle toning and firming of the skin on the other hand, effects may appear after a few uses. We used it in the lower back as well as the buttocks or thighs. But then again don't expect miracles and the belt is more to be taken as a supplement to regular physical activity and a healthy diet.
